New Challenge

New Challenge

Recently, we are busy for developing a new project. Nickel alloy bushing (called part 1) weld with 410 Stainless steel part (called part 2) together. It sounds a easy job, but Part 1 Dimension is O.D29mm x I.D27mm X L 20.5mm only. The wall thickness is very thin, and has tight tolerance. This is our first time to machine the bushing with nickel alloy. We still need to study before and in machining. Will the bushing deform after TIG welding? If it can be controlled in required concentricity tolerance and round tolerance, these are what our engineer needs to have a carefully study before start machining. It is a new challenge and a great opportunity for us. Wish we can learn new machining experience on it, and develop new bushiness area in future. Looking forward good news and samples available next month. I would like to share with you further.

Material Property Sharing:

  1. Excellent corrosion resistance: Nickel 200 has excellent corrosion resistance in dry atmospheres and is resistant to a variety of acidic, alkaline and salt solutions. It is particularly good in acidic environments and can withstand the attack of strong acids such as nitric, sulfuric and hydrochloric acid.
  1. High temperature stability: Nickel 200 still maintains good mechanical properties and oxidation resistance at high temperatures. It has high strength and heat resistance in the temperature range below 1000 ° C, and can withstand stress and corrosion in high temperature environments.
  1. Excellent machinability: Nickel 200 is easy to process and can be formed by heat treatment, cold deformation and pressure machining. It can be cast into parts of different shapes and has high thermal conductivity and low resistivity.
  1. Excellent electromagnetic properties: Nickel 200 has good permeability and electrical conductivity, making it widely used in the field of electronics. It is used in the manufacture of battery airtight containers, vacuum tubes and magnetic parts.
